“Shaking Through<\/a>” is a documentary series “about the birth of a song,” in which 10 independent musicians per year are presented with a challenge: “Record one song in two days. First take to final mix. No extensions. No safety net.”<\/p>\n

This edition (2\/27\/2013 \u2013 Vol. 4, Episode 2) features Helado Negro<\/a>, aka Roberto Lange. <\/p>\n

Roberto and I were invited to join forces and equipment with the good people of Weathervane Music<\/a> at Miner Street Studios in Philadelphia last fall to write, record and mix a song in two days and shoot the whole thing in HD for the video series Shaking Through<\/a>.
