Time travel novel, of a sort, with a literary bent. Reminded me a bit of\u00a0<em>The Time-Traveler&#8217;s Wife<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>John Scalzi,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/13055592-redshirts?from_search=true&amp;search_version=service\">Redshirts<\/a>. <\/em>You almost don&#8217;t need to hear anything else, right? Hilarious spoof of bad sci fi tropes.<\/p>\n<p>John Scalzi,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/21418013-lock-in?from_search=true&amp;search_version=service\">Lock In<\/a>. <\/em>An inventive sci fi police procedural, in a future\u00a0where robotics and VR improve <em>fast<\/em>, because\u00a0millions of people are left paralyzed by a disease.<\/p>\n<p>Laline Paull,\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/book\/show\/18652002-the-bees?from_search=true&amp;search_version=service\">The Bees<\/a>.<\/em> The story of a bee hive, from a bee&#8217;s perspective.
