No big surprise, but oh well. Would have been cool. Neat test setup, though!<\/p>\n

It was bound to happen eventually. A group of researchers that may actually be competent and well-funded is investigating <\/span><\/span>alternative thrust concepts<\/a><\/i>. This includes our favorite, the <\/span><\/span>WTF-thruster<\/del><\/a> <\/span><\/span>EM-drive,<\/a> <\/span>as well as something called a Mach-Effect thruster. The results, presented at <\/span><\/span>Space Propulsion 2018, <\/i>are pretty much as expected: a big fat meh.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
