The years slip from me and have not fulfilled <\/span><\/div>\n
The aspiration of my youth, to build <\/span><\/div>\n
Some tower of song with lofty parapet. <\/span><\/div>\n
Not indolence, nor pleasure, nor the fret <\/span><\/div>\n
Of restless passions that would not be stilled, <\/span><\/div>\n
But sorrow, and a care that almost killed, <\/span><\/div>\n
Kept me from what I may accomplish yet; <\/span><\/div>\n
Though, half-way up the hill, I see the Past <\/span><\/div>\n
